The Discovery of Bag Making by Ralph Emerson

The what ifs...

It just happened, Imbento bags was a snowball of idea I had in my bike trip from Cavite to Pampanga. While I was traversing the land of Bulacan, Bulacan, with thousands of humps and bad braking techniques, my makeshift messenger bag was torn at the back side of it.

The bag just showed its internal organs as if we were in a hospital. It was mounted onto the front of my handle bar.

I continuously looked at the bag's agony as I continue my way to Calumpit, Apalit, and San Fernando, Pampanga

Then as a handy guy myself(weh) stumbling onto this next problem. I thought of fixing the bag then an idea led to another...and I thought of what if.

I make my own bags.

My needs. My design. For my people.

People like me who values form and factor.

the look and purpose

funktionality...

Days and nights i tinkered with names appropriate for the bag.

When i was a kid i remember me saying I wanted to be an inventor. That was it... Imbento Bags.

Imbento bags resonates to change and adaptability. Combining what resources are available to what could be improved in bag making.

Imbento is a filipino translation which means invention. And in the Philippines it usually translates to "Just something i did last weekend".

But I embraced it in making the bag. I made it however it looked with the resources available with the noob skills i have and it's been really fun!!!

I'm on my way to making 50 bags up to date and I've been grateful.

I treat every day just another weekend in making bags.

Like in life, just make it anyway.

See what we're making.
